Seagull introduces Wings for Profit

Sep 1, 2009, Pune: One of Pune's leading brand communication consultancies, Seagull, has introduced a "pay by results" planning tool for it's clients called Wings for Profit. This brand planning tool will be explained at a workshop at Le Royale by its co-creator, Sumit Roy of Univbrands, on September 18, 2009

The workshop is open for all companies, not just Seagull clients, who want to understand how marketing communication need no longer be written off as a cost and can become a source of profit. The model explains a profit planning system that actively reduces marketing budgets while attracting and converting consumers to become loyal brand champions.

The workshop fee comes with a money back guarantee. Any client can nominate a team of up to 5 team members, including their brand consultants (not compulsory), for a fee of Rs. 50,000 for the day. If at the end of the workshop they find that the Wings for Profit planning model has not generated a brand communication blueprint that will make a dramatic contribution to their bottom line, they are entitled to a full refund. (For the money back guarantee to be valid the Chief Marketing Officer (or key decision maker) of the client company must be present throughout the workshop.)

Unlike other workshops, the blueprint created by each team for their own brand will remain confidential and can be used by the client as long as the workshop fee of Rs. 50,000 is paid to Seagull. Seagull does not have to be used to implement the Wings for Profit idea that will help the brand take wing.

This workshop is strongly recommended for marketing companies who need to trim their marketing communication costs. For more information contact vinitha@seagulladvertising.org

Seagull's Dare the Devil Workshop

Seagull’s ‘Dare the Devil’ workshop. It really works!

That was the reaction of the majority of the 40-odd participants present for the Seagull workshop on ‘creativity in business’. The workshop held on 11th June 2009 at The Residency Club, Pune lent a fresh approach to day-to-day business issues that seem to haunt the industry, more so in today’s tough times.

Experience speaks

The workshop that had people from the top echelons of a diverse set if industries like healthcare, FMCG, media, advertising, hospitality, financial services among others, was flagged off by Sameer Desai, Director Seagull Advertising. After a brief introduction of participants, Sameer handed over the stage to the Workshop Leader, Puneet Bhatnagar, NLP Trainer, Business Modeler and Creative Consultant to Seagull.

A hundred ideas. Facilitated by the Seagull Kreative Keeda™
The ‘creativity in business’ boot camp was a clear case of how even simple brainstorming sessions, the right atmosphere (physical, mental and intellectual) and a little positive thinking can give solutions to seemingly gargantuan business problems. Bacchon jaisa socho, man ki vaastu, 100 Ideas, and the SCAMPER solutions model were among the tools and techniques Puneet spoke about, in the workshop. With his five-point formula, the participants came up with the most amazing ideas for their own products and services, which most confessed, they would have never thought of, or thought possible. Almost everyone it seemed was bitten by the creative bug, the Seagull Kreative Keeda™

Vinita Dang, Strategic Consultant, Seagull inaugurates Keeda Bytes, the Seagull newsletter.

The launch of Seagull’s first newsletter ‘Keeda Bytes’
The post-lunch session saw the unveiling of yet another milestone from the Seagull Camp – Its first newsletter, Keeda Bytes. The honours were done by Seagull’s Strategic Consultant, Vinita Dang. The newsletter was well received by the audience.

What next?
The first-of-its-kind and the first in a series of other workshops from Seagull Advertising, ‘Dare the Devil’ went down very well with the participants. Many expressed a desire to be part of the next workshop in the Seagull Knowledge Workshop Series.

Participants at the workshop don their thinking hats ready to face the devil.
